Our corporate headquarters and distribution center are based in Las Vegas, NV.

Dentalree offers two or more brands for each product line, which provides more options and price points for our customers to choose from. For example, our premium polisher line is made in Germany by one of the highest-quality manufacturers on the market. Our economical polisher line is made in Eastern Europe with very good quality at more affordable prices.
Dentalree diamond burs were rated the #1 multi-use diamond burs by an independent non-profit dental education and product testing foundation. They are manufactured by Crosstech and Dentalree is the exclusive distributor of all Crosstech products, including diamond burs.
Introducing Crosstech
Over 30 years ago, Crosstech purchased a Swiss patent for multi-diamond layer technology for diamond burs. Crosstech then collaborated with Taiwan University and the Institute of Taiwan Scientific & Technology to build the technology and machines to produce these Multi-Diamond layer coatings. All Crosstech diamond burs, including the economic line, are produced with double diamond layers. The advantage of double diamond layers is that once the top diamond layer wears out, the bottom diamond layer will be exposed, ensuring faster cutting and longer bur life. As a result, Crosstech burs are cut better and are more efficient than most diamond burs on the market today.
Crosstech uses a very specific type of natural diamond powder in the manufacturing process. During cutting, this natural diamond crystal does not break off; instead, it chips, creating additional sharp edges which increase efficiency and bur life. Man-made diamonds, on the other hand, do not chip during cutting, and the entire diamond grain becomes loose and falls out.
Crosstech manufactures their stainless-steel shanks themselves using the best CNC machines from France and Japan, and the shank tolerance is controlled at +-0.001mm. After 20,000 hours of usage on these machines, they are changed and replaced by brand new milling machines to guarantee the accuracy of the bur shanks. The used machines are then sold to other manufacturers.
Many of our customers ask us how Crosstech can produce such high-quality diamond burs while keeping prices very low compared to other high-quality diamond manufactures. The answer is that Crosstech (the manufacturer) and Dentalree (the distributor) both use low margin business models and efficient business operations to pass savings on.

1) Crosstech Premium Diamonds (Multi-Use): Manufactured using natural diamond powder, with two diamond layers. This provides fast, efficient cutting and longer bur life. This line has an extensive collection of over 1,000 different shapes, sizes and grits (Super Coarse, Coarse, Medium, Fine & Extra Fine), all at one low price. Packs of 5.
2) Crosstech Fast Cutting Diamonds: This is our newest diamond line with technology is similar to Komet S-Diamond (the Komet S-Diamond patent has expired). The structural blank shanks are made with multiple flat surfaces and squared edges (similar to a checkerboard) to ensure faster cutting and less clogging. This construction also reduces heat generated during use. These burs are made with natural diamond powder and have two diamond layers. Packs of 5.
3) Crosstech Premium Short Shank Diamonds (Multi-Use): Manufactured in the same way as our Premium Diamonds. We offer an extensive collection of shapes and grits (Super Coarse, Coarse, Medium, Fine & Extra Fine), all at one low price. Packs of 5.
4) Crosstech 1diamonds (Single-Patient Use, Pre-Sterilized, Individually Wrapped): Made using a mix of natural diamond powder and man-made diamond powders from GE. Has two diamond layers, and the diamond particles are more exposed to achieve faster cutting right at the first use. Approximately 200 different shapes, sizes and grits (Super Coarse, Coarse, Medium, Fine & Extra Fine), all at one price. Packs of 25.
5) Crosstech Economic Diamonds (Multi-Use or Single-Patient Use): These burs are made for multi-use but can be treated as single use. Manufactured using a mix of natural diamond powder and man-made diamonds by GE, with double diamond layers. This is our best-selling diamond line, with over 200 different shapes, sizes and grits (Super Coarse, Coarse, Medium, Fine & Extra Fine), all at once price. Packs of 10.
6) Surgical Diamond Burs: This bur line includes our most popular diamond bur, total length 30mm, made with 100% natural diamond powder and multiple diamond layers. Packs of 5.
7) Cyclone Zirconia Crown Cutting Diamonds: Made with natural diamond powder and multiple diamond layers, with a special coating on the top diamond layer. Crosstech uses physical vapor deposition technology to create a unique diamond-like coating – this coating is harder than Zirconia. This ensures fast cutting of Zirconia crown / Bonded E-max removal and prolongs the life of these burs. Packs of 5.
8) Zirconia Adjustment Diamond Burs: Made with a specially designed man-made diamond powder from GE. Each grain has 32 sides and a hardness greater than Zirconia. These diamond burs can adjust and smooth zirconia crowns easily and without chipping, so it does not damage the zirconia or produce micro cracks. Packs of 5.
Our Team
Linda Laine - Founder and Managing Director: Linda has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics, along with a second Master’s in Computer Science. She worked for over 20 years with leading tech companies such as Apple and Oracle and has used her technical and management skills to build Dentalree into a leading, innovative company servicing the dental industry. Linda is tirelessly dedicated to achieving the most efficient processes for conducting business and creating value for our customers.
Mark Mahn, D.D.S.: Director of Innovation and New Products. Dr. Mahn has partnered with us since 2015. The founder of Paris Dental Center, a large, independent Canadian clinic, he brings over 40 years of clinical and management experience to Dentalree. He has invented the patented Next Digital VPS for Crowns, Bridges & Veneers, which never use cords, retraction or hemostasis. He has also developed the ‘Knockout’ open implant tray (patented) and programs which promote digital dentistry at affordable prices for all dentists.
Trent Horn - Director of Sales: Trent has 30+ years’ experience working with major companies in the dental field and has a deep knowledge of the dental industry. He has worked directly with dental offices, dental labs, dealers, group practices, universities, and government entities. Trent joined Dentalree with a mission to provide dentists and labs with expertise about making their practices or labs more efficient and profitable.
